He has built and scaled power-sector companies for over two decades. As CEO of Enorchile he grew it from 5 to more than 100 people and created a third-party remote-operation model for generation that reached over 1,700 MW, recognized with the Camchal Innovation Award. As CCO of AES Andes he closed over 2 TWh in supply contracts across Chile, Argentina and Colombia, and as CEO of Enlasa he led Latin America's first long-duration energy storage (LDES) project. That judgment, of someone who has built teams and created profitable business models inside the market, is what now directs EnergySage's intelligence.

1. **Nexgy · virtual net-billing**: Chile's first virtual net-billing platform: homes and businesses take part as co-owners of solar plants, with no physical installation. EnergySage is an investor and Rodrigo Sáez sits on the board. The first plant, Caleu 1, has been operating since June 2026.
